Year of the Sheep ushered in with restaurant ribbon cutting and dance troupe performance

-Lucky Foo’s Restaurant and Bar celebrated Chinese New Year Feb. 19 with an afternoon of live entertainment,  cuisine, giveaways and a ceremonial ribbon cutting.

Chinese New Year, traditionally a 15 day festival often referred to at the Spring Festival or Lunar New Year, began Thursday. 2015 is the Year of the Sheep.

The  Dragon Dance was performed by the Lohan School Shaolin.

Lucky Foo’s serves fusion dishes that draw from the tradition of Asian, Mediterranean and American cuisine. It is located at 8955 S. Eastern Ave. The event was sponsored by the Henderson Chamber of Commerce.| iH
