This season’s soft fabrics, easy cuts, flowing lines, and stacked heels all point toward a wardrobe that is as comfortable as it is stylish.
Printed wide-leg pants might be your new favorite. Lightweight, loose and very comfortable, you’ll find them in fabrics that feel like silk. Pair them with a simple V-neck tee or sweater for a dressy-casual look. Wearing floor grazing pants with a 3-inch heel will give you legs for days!
Rompers are still trending and known for being versatile, especially if you pick a subtle or neutral print. Pair one with a blazer for the office, dressy shoes for a night out, or add a casual accessory such as a rancher style hat for a more relaxed look.
Another fall favorite, the sweater dress is coming in shorter this year and they’re perfect for our fall weather. Watch for crocheted dresses sporting fall colors and interesting design details like bell sleeves. Don’t be surprised if they remind you of faraway lands.
When it comes to shoes, comfort and function are key. This season’s stacked heels turn “sensible” shoes into a thing of beauty.
Try going for an ankle boot this fall that has a chunky heel. You can pair a great pair of ankle boots with anything. Look for a boot that has a story or personality of its own.
Gray is a great “go-to” neutral color for a shoe and perfect for fall. It’s always nice to have a functional shoe that is comfy and goes with everything.
But don’t be afraid to add a little color to your shoe collection. Blue suede anyone?
Yellow is a fall color that can read very neutral. Try a bright yellow pump with jeans or a softer vintage yellow with culotte pants, which are also trending this season.
